Open Playwriting workshops

Join me for monthly workshops on Zoom, with discussion and exercises on a different aspects of playwriting, quiet writing time, and a Q+A/chat afterwards. These are open-level workshops for beginners to experienced writers, and everything in between.

ABOUT ME

I’m a playwright, author and comedian, with years of experience in leading workshops. I’ve taught workshops and courses for The Mono Box, City Academy, the RSC and The Soho Theatre, among others.

My debut play, CUCKOO ran at the Soho Theatre in 2018, and my follow up, THE MISANDRIST ran at the Arcola Theatre in 2023. I have undertaken residencies at the National Theatre, London, and the Royal Shakespeare Company. In 2021, I was one of 12 writers on the Channel 4 Screenwriting programme.

In 2023 my book, MAKING YOUR SOLO SHOW:A COMPACT GUIDE was published by Nick Hern Books, co-authored with Milly Thomas.

My superpower is making playwriting exciting and inspiring for writers of all levels. I’m running these monthly, drop-in workshops to share my knowledge and passion, and create a community around playwriting.

So, if you have an idea you think could be brilliant on stage... come and meet your peers, get inspired, and get writing!
